| 31 March 2027 | 1. Justification for the Extension Request Majority of the construction work has been completed, Some work activities are pending and details are provided PERT Chart Below. The following events have severely hampered our construction workflow: a) Stop Work Circular Issued by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Due to Air Pollution (2 months Delay) The PCMC issued an official circular restricting construction activities during the month of November 2023 due to rising air pollution. This directive halted work on-site for a prolonged period, further affecting our project schedule, due to this daily wage workers went to their native villages as there was no clarity when the work would resume. b) Stone Crusher Association Strike (2 months delay). Due to a strike by the Stone Crusher Association during the month of June 2024, there has been a severe shortage of essential raw materials such as sand and aggregates, which are crucial for construction activities. The disruption in the supply chain has resulted in significant delays resulting in unavailability of ready mix concrete for our slab work. c) Dengue Outbreak at out site. (4 months delay) A widespread dengue outbreak at our site led to an alarming number of laborers falling ill. As a result, a large section of our workforce left for their hometowns as they could not afford treatment here, causing a severe labor shortage and slowing down progress considerably. Some workers had to be admitted to hospitals. d) Road Widening Issues: Part of our project land was impacted by road widening, leading to delays in obtaining final sanctions. The government issued Transferable Development Rights (TDR) as compensation for the land acquired for road widening. We utilized the TDR and subsequently applied for full/revised sanction, which took approximately six months to complete. This procedural delay further impacted the project's timeline. |
